common billing questions.

Depending on services being provided, you may be asked to pre-register for your visit or you may be registered upon arrival at the facility. Either way, you will be asked to provide information about yourself and your insurance coverage. It is important that you provide us with accurate information, so we may bill your insurance accordingly.
If you provide insurance information, we will file your insurance claim for you. Once your insurance company has paid, you will receive a bill that will reflect any remaining deductible, co-payment or patient responsibilities. Please keep in mind that your hospital bill will not include charges for any physicians who provide services directly to you or on your behalf. Each physician who participated in your care will bill you separately for services provided. Questions concerning these fees should be directed to the physicians' billing office. For your convenience, we have listed contact information for some of the physicians under the section called
Frequent Contacts.
If you do not have health care coverage you will be asked to pay the full amount of your estimated charges at the time of service. If you cannot pay the entire estimated amount, we will ask you to speak to a Financial Advocate. Our Financial Advocates will be happy to help you complete insurance forms and provide any other assistance you need to settle your account. You may contact a Financial Advocate to discuss available payment options at the number listed below for the facility where you will be receiving services.

Once you are discharged from a Baptist Health Hospital, you can contact our Customer Service Department at
904.202.2092 concerning your bill, payment arrangements or financial assistance.
For your convenience, our hospitals accept payments by Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. We also offer our Fastcheck Program, which will automatically deduct
monthly payments from your checking account. You may also set up recurring payments to be posted against your credit card. Additional information regarding bill payment is provided in the
