Visiting Hours (Downtown)

patient enjoying flowers and greeting card We encourage friends and family to visit our patients often. Baptist Downtown has open visiting hours with the exception of Critical Care areas. These areas, such as Intensive Care and Coronary Care, post the times when loved ones should refrain from visiting.

Generally, we request that there be only two visitors in a patient's room at any one time. Family areas are provided throughout the hospital if you wish to temporarily leave a patient's room and still remain nearby.

Parking

The downtown campus has two parking garages for the convenience of patients and visitors.

If you plan to visit one of the areas listed below, please park in Garage A located on Palm Avenue Drive.

Pavilion Women's Center
Physician offices in the Pavilion Building and Howard Building

If you plan to visit in the Heart Hospital, please park in Garage B located on Prudential Drive. A list of the services located in the Heart Hospital is below.

After-Hours Visiting

After 8 pm, we ask all visitors to check in at the Security Station and receive a visitor's pass.

If you are visiting the Heart Hospital, park in Garage B (Prudential Drive). You will receive a pass as you enter the second floor of Heart Hospital.

If you are visiting Wolfson Children's Hospital or Baptist Medical Center after hours, park in Garage A (Palm Avenue). Enter the building using the first floor entrance and receive a visitor's pass.
